We know the scriptures say in Matthew 4, “Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.” And so this is the Holy Spirit leading Jesus into the wilderness, this is not him wandering on his own. It says “After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said…”
We need to be the solution, not the problem. We have to love our enemies, and as we love them, they will change. So...
The wilderness journey is the preparation we go through before we reach the promised land. We need to be willing to undergo the discipline...
